About Persea Clinic

My name is Magdalena Marvell and I am a Registered Nutrition Practitioner who graduated from the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION) in Richmond where I obtained a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy (trained to level 6 (degree level equivalent) in the Application of Nutritional Therapy in Clinical Practice). I am a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and I abide by the CNHC code of conduct.

Nutrition science and Lifestyle Medicine is evolving rapidly therefore I continuously develop my skills (by undertaking continuous professional development - CPD) in a variety of health areas ensuring that I share with you the latest knowledge and research information relevant to you.
My journey began a few years ago when I worked in the busy TV industry and stared feeling drained, stressed, unhappy and fatigued with continual mood swings and lack of motivation to get going. Prior to this, as a teenager I suffered from an eating disorder which left me with weight fluctuation, anxieties, gastrointestinal problems (IBS) and lowered immunity. I realised that something needed to be done to bring my body and mind back to a healthy balance which lead me to nutritional therapy. Nutritional Therapy helped me to understand the possible triggers of my health concerns and how to use nutrient dense food as a tool to support a healthy balance in my body to take control of my persisting symptoms.
Sometimes it is difficult to understand why we feel fatigued, lethargic, stressed, frequently feeling under the weather or suffer from gastrointestinal problems which stop us from what we enjoy doing.
Persea Clinic is all about helping you to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms and investigate lifestyle factors, triggers, mediators, dietary patterns and its effect on your body. My professional guidance will help you to customise your nutritional needs according to your personal requirements, preferences, cultural or religious beliefs.
We will work together to encourage the use of food and nutrients as a tool to help you to gradually take control of your symptoms. Working over a timeframe to suit you and your family, together we can work towards your personal goals without losing the enjoyment that food brings!

Small changes can bring huge results in optimising youR health and wellbeing.
